was started as a personal project to present a collection of stories about common people as timetravellers, told in little pictures within a photostory… and played like a cherished scene in some old film that will be gone in memories if left unseen. They are simple stories of ordinary people around us who had found the courage to relive past struggles, forgotten relationships or unbearable memories that were once abandoned, but nonetheless will always be the very things that define who we are today, and hold the keys to a doorway that offers a glimpse of a future that’s about to be.

Do you believe that we can travel back in time?

The truth is, you may be doing it all this while without even being aware.

And with all the good intent that I can muster, I urge you to join us and make the very best out of your next trip back in time, to witness our journey while sharing your own,

It is our nature to make mistakes;

to act on the spur of a moment;

to hurt others or even ourselves without knowing then.

But it is also our nature to be time-travellers as well.

We are all time-travellers, even if we are ignorant of this simple truth. The moment we recall and re-experience a significant person, and event, or some other vague memory from long past, we have travelled back in time.

But what is the point of traveling back in time when it’s impossible for us to change anything? Isn’t this just some romantic delusion coming out from some naive dreamer?

I think we have greatly mistaken about the purpose of time-travelling.

It was never about our regrets.

And we can indeed change something.

That something, is what we call, Our Future.

It is our simple nature to be time-travellers;

to relive our past and understand them;

to have the courage to confront those bad memories;

and to relive the good memories for the sole purpose of recreating even better memories in our future.

…to be aware of everything in our lives, that is what that makes us humans…

And thus I wish you good journey in your initimate trips,

as your fellow time traveller and friend. =)

Home to a simple project that I have started to raise funds using my photography for some personal and global causes which I hold dear to, and I hope they are causes that concerns you as well. It would have been a much simpler process if I had the financial power to contribute and fund myself, but even without that, I do believe that there are still many alternatives we can do to help both ourselves and others around the world. It is my greatest hope that even if you do not purchase any prints here, I would have at least pointed you to the right places where you can contribute or spread the word on the critical issues that needs our attention.

你讨厌这城市里生活的步调吗？

在旅游参考书里常说，“每个城市都有各自的个性，只要把自己以旁观者的心态抽离出来，就很容易看出城市的个性。”

对于一个以新加坡为家的城市人而言，这句话，总觉得是个过于极端，而残酷的说法。

想问，在一个大家都视以为拥挤吵杂，以飞快的生活步调为常理的新加坡中，难道就无法找到能让心境平息下来的景观和感觉吗？难道在城市文明里生活中的人们，就不能向往着一片属于自己的辽阔天空吗？

28年的生活感触在耳旁细语着：浮沉在一个看不见满天星空，找不到自然原野的城市里，所谓的城市‘个性’，只不过就是本身的‘心境’罢了。

心境。。。是海洋，时而平静，时而波浪汹涌。从理性飞行的步伐能够放慢而以感性戴浮，自身的心境便能带领视线，亲近这城市里隐藏着的‘新静’。
